It's taken this long to get round to posting but the painting was done on wed. Jon-my husband ,sat for 1 hour and I made a quick start in oils. It's going to be a very neutral pallette which I'm pleased about. looking forward to next sitting but need to block in background first.

Hi Diane - spoke to Anita on the phone half hour ago (for about an hour at least!) and she told me you had opened a blog. Why didnt you email and tell me?? Love the portrait of your youngest - so like him. Interesting to see the John portrait and the emotion I feel at looking at your work. You are so good at figures and portraits - must be your genre, although I keep remembering your historical and mythical pieces. .. and I'll never forget the green apple moving towards me. Welcome to the blogger world - isnt it fun??!!
